Have you asked yourself that before?
Would you still be as kind if no Deity was judging you for eternal life or death? Kindness should exist in you because that is what YOU WANT, not what others want from you. The world does need more love, kindness, and truth. Not for religious reasons, but for humanity.
Look inside your heart... is kindness there... just because?
I agree 100%. I think society focuses too much on "religion" and not enough on being "spiritual" and being a genuinely good person. Great post.
